Few places in the world can boast as much sunshine as
Tel Aviv. This bustling City enjoys over 300 days a year. And
where better to promote your tan than on the beautiful
white beaches that gently slip into the constantly warm
waters of the Med. You can immerse yourself in all kinds
of watersports or just stroll along the promenade.
And what a stroll .In 4000 metres you can roll the clock back 4000 years. This stretch of land takes you to the
ancient port of Jaffa, built in the time of Jonah in 2000BC.
In no time at all, the return journey through an abundance
of designer boutiques in the shopping malls will bring
you right bang up to date again.
As the sun finally goes down you’ll see this 24hr,
modern Mediterranean metropolis light up. Clubs, bars and
Cosmopolitan restaurants can’t wait to make your stay a
memorable one. So if you're looking for a place to have
a nightcap, Tel Aviv has them by the hatful.
Then it's time for bed, either right in the heart of things
or if you prefer just along the coast in the magnificent hotels
on the Herzliya beachfront, or the more moderately priced
places in Bat Yam.
But Tel Aviv is not just a hub of interest
and entertainment (with its museums, galleries ,planetarium
and opera house), it's the perfect base for short trips to
places like Jerusalem, the Dead Sea and Galilee.
History has never been so close at hand. Imagine, in just
five hours you can be in a City where state-of-the-art facilities
in world-class hotels sit so comfortably (how else?) with the
ancient world. And you can be there for under £400.
